lovely authentic Italian caffe. Had warm chicken salad and cappuccino. The food portions are generous, fresh and tasty. Came with warm ciabatta bread which finished it off nicely. Great atmosphere and friendly staff

Lovely, warm, polite, genial staff. Very clean cafe. Great big pot of lemon and ginger tea. I had cream cheese and olive sandwich and a slice of lemon and almond cake. Yum. I would revisit as it was a pleasant experience.

Having got shocking non service at a nearby cafe we found this one close by and so glad we did. Great prompt caring courteous service was received! We had the vegan Paninis which were stunning, very different to what I'm used to but perfect for breakfast and really well presented, nice coffee too. I know where in town I will come back too! Would be great if there were another vgn choice or 2 but happy here anyway.

Superb coffee shop with an excellent choice of cakes, paninis, coffees and more. Service was first class and a very pleasant spot to while away some time in this lovely town. It is that good I've been every day during my week break in the area, changing my cycling routes to make sure I ended up at Alfresco. Returned to the cafe in May 2025 and delighted to say that it is still as good as ever!

Just had the best scrambled eggs in years ! Non of that dried up microwaved rubbish the bacon and scrambled egg were perfectly cooked and a generous portion, coffee excellent too a great find Thankyou very much !
